Empowering Books by Social Worker Authors in Honor of Social Work Month

As we celebrate Social Work Month, I had the distinct privilege of meeting Leah Aguirre, who is the author of two psychoeducational books. Her first one, coauthored by Geraldine O'Sullivan , was created to demystify relationships and sexuality for girls, while leaving them empowered.

Her second book is a lifeline for individuals in emotionally abusive relationships. As we share a passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, this book is especially meaningful to me. I hope many find this to be helpful during such pivotal moments in their lives.
